Continually Getting Disconnected?

Welcome to B-W's Wireless Network!

The I.T. Department would like to welcome all students, faculty, and staff back for an exciting Spring 2010 semester. We are pleased to announce that Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) Version 2 has been completely deployed across campus. WPA is the latest in wireless encryption technology and provides compliance for security protocols. In addition, at the Center for Innovation and Growth, 802.11N (the latest and fastest wireless technology) has been installed. If you have a class or activity there this semester, be sure to take your laptop and try out the faster speed.

On this page, you will find all the necessary resources to get connected to the B-W wireless network. Below, you will find a link to automatically setup your wireless network connection for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, MAC OSX, and IPhone. By clicking on the automatic setup link, you will be guided through the steps for setting up your wireless network connection in just 2 minutes. NOTE: If you are a returning student, you will want to re-run the automatic setup to update your old wireless settings.

As always, if you encounter any issues, you can contact the IT HelpDesk by dialing 7000 from any campus phone. If calling from any other phone, dial (440) 826-7000. You can also contact the HelpDesk by email at: helpdesk@bw.edu. Have a great spring semester!
